Maheshwari Orthopedic Hospital is well known orthopedic specialty hospital located at Panchmukhi Shopping Center, Jamnagar. It was established in the year 1986 by Dr. Kishor Sajanmal Maheshwari. Over the last three decades, it has become an established name for exceptional patient care. It is an entrusted place where patients come with hope and faith and leave with better function and renewed ability to enjoy life.
We are a hi-tech tertiary care orthopedic facility in the heart of Jamnagar. What drives us is total patient care and not just orthopedic solutions. Our patients are of prime importance and nothing gives us more satisfaction then solving their problems and ensuring better quality of life. MOH has the infrastructure and equipment’s to conduct all super-specialty services.
For our patient’s convenience we provide services like in-house Pharmacy, in-house X-ray facility, on-call blood/urine testing, on call doctors (Anesthetic and Medical Doctor), Canteen and a spacious and comfortable waiting lounge. We have 25 Deluxe & Semi Deluxe Rooms and two operation theatres. The range of procedures and services offered to the patients is wide. Our services run 24 x 7 and from Mon to Sun.

Dr. Kishor S Maheshwari is the Chief Orthopedic Surgeon at Maheshwari Orthopedic Hospital. He has been running a successful private practice in Jamnagar district of Gujarat since the last 3 decades. His work entails a variety of orthopedic challenges like trauma, joint preservation, spine problems, joint replacement and preventive care in all age groups. He has had a meritorious track record at the MP Shah Government Medical College through his under-graduate and post-graduate days. He served the Orthopedic Department at M.P. Shah Medical College as an Asst. Professor after his post-graduation and has also given his academic services at D.Y Patil Medical college, Pune as an Honorary Associate Professor.

She is an Accredited Clinical Fellowship trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with a special interest in neuromuscular conditions like cerebral palsy and gait correction surgeries. She has had an extraordinary career chart, with numerous distinctions in her undergraduate and two gold medals in her post graduate career from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. She has numerous publications and book chapters to her credit in national and international books and journals. She has received national and international awards including the “Marcela Uribe Zamudio award” and “Sicot India foundation award” and some prestigious pediatric orthopedic travelling fellowships from Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association, Japanese Pediatric Orthopedic association and the Indian Orthopedic Association. She has been previously awarded the Orthopediatrics scholarship by the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental medicine and more recently the International Scholarship Award this year by the American Academy.
She has done her training under some remarkable mentors both in India and abroad. She has primarily trained in pediatric orthopedics under Dr. Ashok Johari. She has completed a yearlong clinical fellowship at the prestigious ‘Royal Children’s Hospital’ in Melbourne, Australia which is one of the world’s foremost centers dealing with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions.
She is actively involved in disseminating knowledge and training to orthopedic trainees over the years and has been a regular faculty for many organizations including the Bombay Orthopedic Society and the Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy.
She is passionate about making correct information available to all parents in a simple and easy to understand way. With this in mind she runs her own YouTube channel under the name of Enable.

Dr. Maheshwari strongly believes in bringing the worlds’ latest and best treatments locally for his patients. In this pursuit he has travelled to over 20 different countries and visited over 30 world-renowned institutions. To name a few, he underwent training for advanced traumatology at Germany, Switzerland and South Korea. Subsequently he has also trained for spine surgery in the United States and Brunei. For Joint Replacement surgery, he has trained in Germany, Australia and Singapore.
He has been invited as faculty at various orthopedic conferences locally, nationally and internationally. His publications have been received in domestic as well as international journals like LANCET. He is one of the few pioneering surgeons to have contributed a patented research instrument (by the Government of India) “Maheshwari Zig”, which is useful in hip fractures in elderly.
He believes in giving back to the society and in this endeavor, he has organized over 100 free diagnostic and surgical camps to help the needy at large.
He was the past president of Gujarat Orthopedic Association, Chairman of Data Management Committee of Indian Orthopedic Association. He continues to Chair the Trauma Committee of the Indian Orthopedic Association.
His Current interests and research areas are prevention of Osteoporosis and Joint preservation of the knee by means of high tibial osteotomy. He holds the distinction of doing the highest number of high tibial osteotomies by any single surgeon in the country.
